Work out the numbers before you commit

Two calculators and three checklists. The calculators use standard formulas and run entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server. They are estimates, not an offer, a sanction letter or a repayment schedule.

Nothing leaves your browser. These tools do not ask for a name, phone number or account number, and they do not submit anything. A result is a mathematical estimate; the institution's written terms are authoritative.

01 · Loan repayment

EMI calculator

Enter the amount, the annual rate and the tenure in months. The calculator returns the monthly instalment on a reducing balance, the total interest and the total repayment.

The amount before any deductions.

The rate the institution quotes, not the effective yield.

The repayment period.

Monthly EMI
NPR 14,122
Total interest
NPR 38,929
Total repayment
NPR 3,38,929

The EMI is calculated with the standard reducing-balance formula. It does not include processing, insurance or documentation fees, and it is not a sanction letter. The institution's repayment schedule is authoritative.

02 · Savings and deposits

Interest calculator

Compare simple interest with annual, half-yearly, quarterly or monthly compounding for the same principal, rate and time.

Method
Compound, annually
Total interest
NPR 33,100
Maturity amount
NPR 1,33,100

This is a mathematical estimate, not a deposit or loan quote. Institutions may use a different day count, compounding convention or fee structure. Use the figure as a comparison, then check the institution's own schedule.

03 · Before you apply

Application checklists

Three short lists: a CIB self-check, a CV read-through and a cover-letter outline. They are prompts for your own work, not a scoring system.

CIB self-checkUse this before you ask an institution to correct a credit record.
  • I have the latest loan statement or settlement letter from the reporting institution.
  • I have identified the exact entry that is wrong: institution, facility, amount and date.
  • I have a copy of my identification and the application or reference number.
  • I have written a short explanation of what should change and why.
  • I know that the institution and the CIB decide the correction; no agent can guarantee it.
  • I have kept a copy of everything I submitted and noted the date and recipient.
CV checklistA last read before you attach the file.
  • The role title and the institution's name match the vacancy notice.
  • The first page shows the experience most relevant to this role.
  • Every number in the CV is one I can explain and support.
  • Dates, job titles and institution names are consistent.
  • There is no photograph, marital status, caste or full citizenship number unless asked.
  • The file is a PDF named with my name and the role.
  • I have read it aloud and removed repeated words and long sentences.
  • My references know that they may be contacted.
Cover-letter outlineThree short paragraphs are enough.
  • Paragraph 1: the role, the institution and where I saw the notice.
  • Paragraph 2: two pieces of evidence that match the main requirements.
  • Paragraph 3: availability, phone number and email address.
  • I have addressed a named person if the notice gives one.
  • I have not repeated the CV line by line.
  • I have checked the spelling of the institution and the role.
